Mayor Adams: I Got A Job To Complete

Mayor Eric Adams is remaining defiant amid calls to resign, saying he's going to continue working on behalf of the city.

"I got a job to complete," Adams said.

The mayor pleaded not guilty last week to a five count indictment that includes bribery and wire fraud charges. He says he's done nothing wrong and will fight the charges against him.

"It's not about quitting. It's about stepping up and continuing to deliver for the city. The attorneys will handle the legal aspect of it. I'm going to stay focused," Adams said.

Many have called for Adams to resign and have questioned whether he can continue leading the city effectively. However, Adams says he's being encouraged to stay on the job.
