Rich Lowry, the editor-in-chief of the National Review, shared his thoughts on day one of the DNC with Len Berman and Michael Riedel.
Lowery said, "Biden is a relic who deserved to be pushed out of prime time. He's a very unpopular President for excellent reasons, and the Democrats made the right choice by pushing him out of the election. The Democrats should use the convention to build Harris up instead of trying to change people's minds about Trump. Harris has seen her favorability rate jump by 12% since she became the nominee, and that's what the Democrats should focus on, but they can't help themselves, they have to trash Trump. Lowery says Harris is horrible, she's a cardboard cutout of a politician. Her role is to read what's on the teleprompter, and that's it. She is not remotely capable of being President of the United States.
