Len Berman and Michael Riedel talked with Ron Insana, host of the Market Scoreboard about the roller coaster ride the markets have taken investors on over the last couple of days.
Ron blamed the Global Panic on some complicated trades that emanated from Japan and concerns that the Federal Reserve isn't moving quickly enough to lower interest rates to forestall any further weakening in the U.S. economy. We are now waiting to see if the problematic trades that caused losses among some speculators have been unwound. If they have, then maybe we can get through this without any additional anxiety.
