The Mets season is on the verge of a complete collapse, with a 10 to 3 loss and a series sweep at the hands of the Los Angeles Dodgers.

Relief pitcher Jorge Lopez was ejected from the game and then threw his glove into the stands. To make matters worse, Pete Alonso left the game after being hit on the hand with a pitch and closer Edwin Diaz was placed on the injured list.

The Mets now have a record of 22 and 33, despite having the highest payroll in Major League Baseball.
