Devils Shutout Rangers in Game 7

The Devils won their showdown with the Rangers, beating them 4 to 0 in Game 7 at the Prudential Center.

Michael McLeoud scored a shorthanded goal in the second period to break a scoreless tie. Tomas Tatar followed a goal a few minutes later to put the Devils up 2 to 0.

Erik Haula extended the lead in the third period and Jesper Bratt added an empty netter.

The Devils will now take on the Carolina Hurricanes in the second round of the playoffs.
