Tuesday is Equal Pay Day in the United States.
This is the day that marks how far women have to work into the new year to earn as much as men did in the previous year. It's reported that women working full time make just 84 cents for every dollar that a white man earns. It began more than 25 years ago to bring attention to the wage gap in the United States.
