With Florida Governor Ron DeSantis expected to enter the race for president in the coming months, former President Trump is going on the attack.
"Florida was doing great long before Ron DeSanctus got there,” Trump said in a video posted on Truth Social.
He said former Governors Rick Scott and Charlie Crist have also done well in Florida. Trump said the state benefits from high taxes and out-of-control crime in other parts of the country, along with Florida’s location.
"Sunshine and ocean are very alluring. It’s not too hard to work with those factors. So just remember, Florida was doing really well long before Ron DeSanctus got there,” Trump said.
