Governor Kathy Hochul says she’s spoken to Bills safety Damar Hamlin and wants him to talk to school kids in the city about his story.
“I know that he wants to use the gift of his story as an inspiration,” Hochul said.
Hamlin collapsed on the field during a Monday Night Football game and went into cardiac arrest. He’s now out of the hospital and is continuing to recover.
“I'm going to bring him back here and let him speak to young people through inspiration and looking up to role models like him, the power of prayer gave him this platform that he believes,” Hochul said.
