NYPD Officer Shot, Two Suspects Still On The Loose

A police officer is out of the hospital and a 16-year-old is in custody after a shooting early Tuesday morning in the Bronx.

But two more suspects are still on the loose

Officer Paul Lee and a second officer were responding to reports of shots fired in the area of Prospect Avenue and 183rd Street. Lee wasn’t the intended target, but was struck by a bullet in the arm.

The 16-year-old had a .32 caliber gun on him and is now facing several charges including attempted murder. The search is continuing for two additional suspects.
