Lee Zeldin Concedes Election For NY Governor

Congressman Lee Zeldin has congratulated Governor Hochul on her election as governor of New York.

Zeldin conceded the election on Wednesday, after initially not conceding on Tuesday night when Hochul declared victory.

“I would like to congratulate New York Governor Kathy Hochul on her election to a full four year term,” Zeldin said in a statement.

Hochul becomes the first woman ever elected governor of New York. Now, Zeldin says she must address the crime problem.

“As they take office in January, Governor Kathy Hochul and those controlling Albany must address the grave concerns voiced by the voters,” Zeldin said.
