Mayor Eric Adams is again telling employees they need to return to the office in New York City.
“When I don't have the accountant in his office, who's going to go to that restaurant to make sure that waiter, that dishwasher is going to be there?” Adams asked.
He said people working remotely is hurting the city’s economy. Adams also suggested that people are being disingenuous in saying that people are staying home because of COVID.
“You cannot hang out in the nightclub on Sunday, but you're afraid to come to work on Monday,” Adams said.
