Police are looking for a man who allegedly smeared human feces on a woman at a Bronx subway platform during the evening rush last week.
The victim was sitting on a bench on the southbound platform at East 241st Street station at about 5:15 p.m. last Monday when the unidentified man attacked her, smearing excrement on her face and on the back of her head.
Police released video that shows the man holding what appears to be a black plastic bag as he approaches the woman. He then shoves the bag containing the feces into the woman's face and head and flees the scene.
Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
The disturbing attack comes after New York City and New York State rolled out a joint subway safety plan two weeks ago.
