Mayor Bill de Blasio announced the start of a $30 million tourism marketing campaign titled "New York Reawakens."
"We need to let people know we're open for business. It's safe. Come here, join this amazing moment," de Blasio said.
The goal is to help Broadway, museums, restaurants and other businesses that rely on tourism. The mayor said the goal is to bring back 400,000 jobs.
"We are absolutely certain that New York City will get all our jobs back and then proceed to set new records for jobs, going forward," de Blasio said.
