Governor Cuomo is threatening to fine hospitals if they don’t quickly administer their doses of the coronavirus vaccine.
“They have to move the vaccine, and they have to move the vaccine faster,” Cuomo said.
He said any hospital that doesn’t use the vaccine could be fined $100,000. The governor said they must also use their allocation within seven days they could lose their ability to distribute the vaccine.
“If one hospital isn't performing, we can use other hospitals and if you're not performing this function, it does raise questions about the operating efficiency of the hospital,” Cuomo said.
