Beginning on Tuesday in New Jersey, indoor gatherings are limited to 10 people.
That’s down from the previous limit of 25.
“As for indoor sports practices or competitions, they will be allowed to exceed the 10-person limit only for individuals necessary for the practice or competition, such as players, coaches and referees,” Governor Phil Murphy said.
Outdoor gatherings will be capped at 150 people.
There is an exception for indoor religious services, weddings, funerals, memorial services and political activities. They will be limited to 25 percent of capacity with a maximum of 150 people.
