New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy is striking back at critics, who have complained that restrictions and wearing a mask are annoying.
“You know what's really uncomfortable and annoying? When you die,” Murphy said.
On Thursday night, indoor dining around the state had to shut down at 10 p.m. Murphy is also giving towns and counties the authority to close nonessential businesses as early as 8 p.m.
It comes as the state’s infection rate has now climbed above 12 percent.
“We cannot let up on social distancing, on wearing our masks, or in practicing strong hand hygiene,” Murphy said.
