NY and NJ Use App To Notify about Coronavirus Exposure

A new app available in New York and New Jersey will now alert people when they’ve come in contact with someone who has tested positive for coronavirus.

Governor Cuomo said it would maintain privacy of users, while notifying them of possible exposure.

"We have a very exciting announcement that has taken a lot of work and it's really creative and smart and I think it can make a big difference,” Cuomo said.

The COVID Alert NY and COVID Alert NJ apps are available in both the Google Play Store and Apple App Store.
