Governor Cuomo Says All MLB Games Could Be Played in New York

Governor Andrew Cuomo is making an offer to Major League Baseball, saying all games could be played in New York.

“New York State has one of the lowest infection rates in the United States. New York State has a full Department of Health protocol system in place, we have a testing system in place,” Cuomo said.

The Toronto Blue Jays had trouble finding a place to play, after Canada wouldn’t allowed games there. They eventually decided to play their home games in Buffalo. The Miami Marlins are also dealing with an outbreak within the organization.

“The way we made it work for spring training camp, the way we made it work for the Blue Jays, we offer the same assistance here,” Cuomo said.
