Megan Thee Stallion took to Instagram this afternoon to clarify that she was not arrested on Sunday morning, but rather shot and transported to the hospital by police. This story was initially reported as Tory Lanez being arrested on a gun charge while Meg was with him in a vehicle after a night of partying in Los Angeles. No further details had been released surrounding Meg or her being shot.
Meg:
"On Sunday morning I suffered gunshot wounds, as a result of a crime that was committed against me and done with the intention to physically harm me. I was never arrested, the police officers drove me to the hospital where I under went surgery to remove the bullets. I'm incredibly grateful to be alive and I am expected to make a full recovery...I was never arrested. This whole experience was an eye opener and a blessing in disguise. I hate that it took this experience for me to learn how to protect my energy."
