Tribeca Film Festival Takes Drive-In Form

The Tribeca Film Festival has come up with a way to go on as planned.

Tickets are going on sale Friday for drive-in screenings of the Tribeca Film Festival in New York. Films will be screened on weekends from July 9th until August 12th. Tickets to Thursday screenings will be free for first responders and healthcare workers.

Robert DeNiro, who co-founded the festival in 2003, told Jimmy Fallon on “The Tonight Show" “It seems like the safest thing you can do with a bunch of people in their own cars."

Long Island, New York as well as Dallas, Los Angeles, and New York City will all host Tribeca Drive-In events.
