While not the first players in the league to test positive the four players join the many NBA players who have already tested positive for the virus including The Utah Jazz' Rudy Gobert & Donovan Mitchell, and The Detroit Piston's Christian Wood.

In an officiall press release the Brooklyn Nets note than only one player is exhibiting symptoms while the other three show now signs:

"Of the four, one player is exhibiting symptoms while three are asymptomatic. All four players are presently isolated and under the care of team physicians. The organization is currently notifying anyone who has had known contact with the players, including recent opponents, and is working closely with state and local health authorities on reporting."

After the news originally surfaced of the Utah Jazz players contracting the virus, the NBA suspended the 2019-2020 indefinitely for the time being. According to NBA Insider Adrian Wojnarowski the NBA owners and league execs are viewing mid to late June as the most likely time for the league to continue.
