Altuve's HR In Ninth Sends Astros To World Series

Jose Altuve, the 5-foot-6 driving force of Houston, delivered this swing on Saturday night that will play in Astros' highlights forever.

Watch as Altuve homers off Aroldis Chapman with two outs in the ninth inning to give the Houston Astros an incredible 6-4 win Game Six win over th New York Yankees an sent the Astros to the World Series for the second time in three years.

And it was even more dramatic given the Yankees had just tied the game in the top of the inning when DJ LeMahieu hit a tying, two-run shot off Astros closer Roberto Osuna in the top of the ninth.

Say what all you want about home field advantage in Game Seven but, if the Yankees win that game after that homer—they have all the momentum going into Game Seven.

Altuve made certain that didn’t happen when he answered with this two-run drive to left-center, setting off a wild celebration at Minute Maid Park and earning himself AL Championship Series MVP.

Next up, the Washington Nationals in Game One tomorrow night where the Astros will be the biggest favorites since 2004.
