A suspect has been injured after being shot at a subway platform in the Bronx.
Shot spotter technology alerted police to an incident at the station on White Plains Road and 225th Street. They encountered a gunman and fired several rounds, striking the suspect in the shoulder.
The suspect was seriously injured.
A semi-automatic gun was recovered at the scene.
