Schools Chancellor Richard Carranza admits he’s considering a ban on chocolate milk.
“We’re taking a look at it.We’re actually asking nutritional experts.We are examining what that would look like in New York City schools,” Carranza said.
He said they’re trying to take sugar out of student meals. But he cautioned that no final decision has been made.
“I want everybody to hold onto your milk.We haven’t taken chocolate milk out of the menu,” Carranza said.
