Long Island Teenager Murdered Outside of Pizzeria

Detective Stephen Fitzpatrick of the Nassau County Police Homicide Squad is asking witnesses to come forward and help the police figure out who killed 16-year-old Khaseen Morris.

Footage of the murder, which was shared on social media, shows Morris and another teenage boy being attacked outside of an Oceanside pizzeria by a group of alleged gang members while over 50 people watched.

According to CBS.com, police records show that Morris was stabbed multiple times in the chest before being rushed to a local hospital where he died overnight.

"I'm in shock," local resident Anna Vargas said. "Oceanside is a very safe area; you send your children to school here because there's never any problems like that."

The victim's friend Haley Cuba said of Khaseen, "Everybody knew him. He was new. He was the new kid. Everybody started talking to him. he was a happy-go-lucky kind of guy who got along with everybody."

Nassau County Police believe the fight may have been started over a girl.
