New Jersey Man Charged With Murdering Co-Worker On Lunch Break

A New Jersey man was arrested for allegedly murdering stalking a co-worker on her lunch break and murdering her in her apartment.

Kenneth Saal of, Lindenwold, NJ, was arrested and charged with murdering 26-year-old Carolyn Byington about three months ago at her home in Plainsboro, NJ, the New York Post reports.

Byington's neighbors told police that they heard faint screams and sounds of a scuffle come from her apartment on the day she died.

When Byington failed to return from her lunch break her co-workers called the police and asked them to conduct a wellness check. When police arrived at her apartment, they found her body.

Middlesex County Prosecutor Andrew Carey told the media, "The investigation has been a top priority since the crime occurred. I hope the arrest brings at least some sense of peace to the friends and family of Carolyn, as well as the greater community."

Saal is charged with first-degree murder and possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose.
