Mets Legend Lenny Dykstra Agrees To Fight Viral 'Bagel Boss Guy'

Red Sox v Mets

A pint-sized jerk from Long Island who went viral for berating female employees of a Montauk bagel shop and then challenging several men to fight him will be getting in the ring to trade blows with a baseball legend.

Chris Morgan aka 'Bagel Boss Guy' — a reference to the bagel shop that made him famous — made news again last month when he inked a deal with Celebrity Boxing.

On Monday, TMZ reports that Morgan's opponent for the September 7 bout in Atlantic City, NJ, will be three-time MLB All-Star and World Series champion Lenny Dykstra. Dykstra reportedly agreed to the deal Friday.

Both men have reportedly begun training for the fight.

The five-foot tall Morgan, whose viral rant was reportedly triggered by women "smirking" at him, insists he is "naturally tough" and is reportedly now under the tutelage of UFC stars Al Iaquinta and Chris Weldman.

Dykstra, who at about five-foot-ten will tower over Morgan in the ring, has already begun discussing the upcoming bout via Twitter.

A fellow Twitter user recently asserted "Bagel guy gonna get a hole punched through him for sure," prompting Dykstra to respond, "That's the real reason he'll forever be known as 'bagel guy.'"
