Man Out On Bail Wanted In Playground Shooting

The NYPD is asking for the public's help in tracking down Ahziem Walter for allegedly shooting a 13-year-old girl in the shoulder while she played in the St. Andrew's Playground in Bedford-Stuyvesant Brooklyn.

According to an article published in the New York Daily News, Walter was attempting to shoot a rival when he open fired into the crowded play area. The unidentified girl ran for cover in the same direction as the intended target and was struck in the lower shoulder. The bullet pierced and collapsed one of the young girl's lungs.

The NYPD released a photo of Walter and asked anyone with information on his whereabouts to call Crime Stoppers at 800-577-TIPS.
