A new video has been posted online, showing New York City police officers being doused with water.
This is the third such video to surface in recent days, following incidents in Harlem and Brooklyn.
It’s unclear exactly where or when this most recent video takes place, but it shows a group of individuals holding buckets of water and water guns. They wait for traffic to pass on the street and then throw the water on two police officers.
Earlier this week, video surfaced of officers being sprayed with water while making an arrest in Harlem. A second video showed two officers having water dumped on them while they crossed the street.
Three suspects have now been arrested in connection with those incidents. NYPD leadership told officers they shouldn’t tolerate such behavior.
"Any cop who thinks that that’s alright, that they can walk away from something like that, maybe should reconsider whether or not this is a profession for them.We don’t take that,” Chief of Department Terence Monahan said.
