Petition Launched Against “Mob Wives” Star’s MTV Reality Show

A petition has been launched to cancel “Mob Wives” star Karen Gravano’s upcoming MTV reality show “Made In Staten Island.”

The petition claims that the show “demeans what it is to be from Staten Island” due to its portrayal of the New York City borough as “a cesspool of gangsters, meatheads and low lives” by MTV. But Gravano is saying that “the outrage is for no reason,” since she claims the show is “not glorifying criminal activity.”

Instead, she says it’s “a good opportunity to highlight kids at a young age striving to do better.” “Made In Staten Island” premieres on January 14th on MTV.
