Student Is Victim of 'Knock-Out' Game Attack

The NYPD is asking for help in identifying a man who slugged a young woman in the face in an unprovoked attack. The crime which was caught on video shows a man casually walking down the street suddenly stop and viciously punch the victim in the face.

The assault took place this weekend when 19-year-old Rasa Barzdukas was on break from classes at the Pratt Institute.

Barzdukas told the New York Post that she had just finished paying for snacks at a bodega when she turned around and got cold-cocked by a man she had never seen before. "I was in shock, but I tried to shake it off," said Barzdukas. "I really didn't understand the severity of it. I didn't know what was going on."

Brazdukas who moved from Los Angles to NYC to attend college said she called her mother after the attack and told her she had just survived her "New York" moment.

The police described the suspect as a 20-year-old black man with dreadlocks.
