Brewers 5, Mets 1 - The Streak Ends at 9

It wasn't in the cards tonight as the Mets lost just their second game of the season to the Milwaukee Brewers.  They had trouble solving Chase Anderson who no-hit the Mets for four and two third inings. Matt Harvey wasn't sharp and got burned by two long balls, the most damaging, a three run shot by Jonathan Villar, that gave the Brewers a lead they would never lose. Matt Harvey was done after 5 innings but Paul Sewald was brilliant in relief, with 5K's, keeping the Brew Crew scoreless over the next three innings. In the 9th, Orlando Arcia hit a solo HR to end the Brewers scoring, but the comebacks that had been the staple of the 11 previous wins never came, unfortunately, and the Mets lost for the first time since the third game of the season. Mets look to win the rubber game of the series with a 1:10 first pitch on Sunday, Mets On Deck at 12:05.

Here's how the Brewers ended the Mets nine game winning streak.
