  • Noah Syndergaard got the start and only went 4 innings, striking out seven on a day where he threw 92 pitches in just four innings.
  • Yoenis Cespedes hit a monster Home Run to give the Mets a two-run lead
  • A strange play in the field led to a steal of home by Carlos Santana which tied the game, but that would be it for the Phillies.
  • Amed Rosario tripled in the 6th to give the Mets the lead for good.
  • Mets Relievers took over in the fifth and faced the minimum number of batters in a 5-inning shutout effort.
  • Jeurys Familia got a double play and a strike out in the 9th to preserve the victory after a long afternoon in Flushing.
