Hundreds Attend Candlelight Vigil For Shooting Victims

The community of Parkland, Florida, is trying to come to grips with the shooting that left 17 people dead at a high school there.  Hundreds of people attended a candlelight vigil last evening for the victims of the attack at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School.  Speakers called for action to prevent another tragedy. City officials speaking at the event emphasized that everyone has their struggles, but what matters is how people treat each other.

Senior class president Julia Cordover read the names of the 17 people who died in the shooting as people wept.
