Thousands of pieces of luggage remain at JFK Airport, days after a frozen pipe burst and flooded a major terminal.
NBC 4 New York reports five thousand bags are reportedly still at the airport, instead of in the hands of travelers. The problems started last week when a snowstorm caused many flights to be canceled. Then over the weekend a frozen pipe burst and flooded Terminal 4.
Former Transportation Secretary Ray LaHood, who served under President Obama, will investigate the problems. He will then offer recommendations.
