Before Governor Hits The Road, He Gets His Name On One

It seems only fitting that the soon to be Ex-Governor of New Jersey, Chris Christie, is being honored on his way out the door by having a street named after him.

"Governor Chris Christie Drive" will open sometime in mid-2018 near the Christies home in Morris County. The main function of the new road will be to help ease traffic throughout the local neighborhood.

Governor Christie's popularity plummeted after the "Bridgegate" scandal of 2013 even though the governor was not charged in the politically charged traffic jam scandal.

Governor Christie will be replaced by Governor-Elect Phil Murphy on January 16 of 2018.
