Former NY TV Anchor Michelle Marsh Passes Away

Longtime New York City television news anchor Michele Marsh has died at the age of 63.

Marsh began her TV news career in Maine in 1976 and found her way to CBS 2 New York in 1979.  Over the next decade, she spent a considerable amount of time as the anchor of the 11 o’clock news.

Marsh joined NBC 4 New York in 1996 and worked along Chuck Scarborough as co-anchor of the 6 p.m. news.  She continued with the network until 2003.

Marsh died after a long battle with cancer at her home in Connecticut surrounded by her family.
