Yankees Take Game 3 of ALCS, Beating Astros 8-1

The New York Yankees used homeruns by Aaron Judge and Todd Frazier and a great pitching performance by C.C. Sabathia to beat the Houston Astros 8 to 1 in Game 3 of the ALCS.

Frazier gave the Yankees an early lead with a 3-run homer in the 2nd inning.  Chase Headley added to lead with an RBI single in the 4th and then Frazier scored on a wild pitch.  Aaron Judge added a 3-run homer in the 4th inning.

C.C. Sabathia got the win, throwing 6 shutout innings and striking out 5.

"He's pitched really well all playoff and really all season long when his knee has felt well.  I'm not surprised what he did tonight," Manager Joe Girardi said.

The Astros lead the series 2 games to 1.  Game 4 is Tuesday at Yankee Stadium in the Bronx.
