NYPD officers reportedly shot a knife-wielding suspect in East Flatbush, Brooklyn, Monday afternoon.
Officers were called to the area of New York Avenue, between Newkirk and Foster avenues, on a report of an emotionally disturbed man armed with a knife.
The shooting was reported at about 12:45 p.m. The man's condition has not been released.
Officers reportedly attempted using a stun-gun on the man. When that didn't work, an officer shot him.
NYPD says the investigation is still active.
