Michael Wacha Stymies Mets in 5-0 Cardinals Win; Third Straight Mets Loss

The Mets lost their third straight game as Michael Wacha and the Cardinals shut them down 5-0 at Citi Field.

They committed three errors which led to two runs. In total their starter Rafael Montero allowed four runs, two earned over six innings, he struck out five and allowed six hits.

The Mets have their ace on the mound tomorrow as Jacob deGrom will look to play the role of stopper and snap their three-game losing skid. Coverage on WOR begins at 6:05 pm with Pete McCarthy and 'Mets on Deck'.
