A woman suffered serious injuries to her legs this morning when she was accidentally struck by a food truck vendor backing his cart into position on the sidewalk in Columbus Circle.
The unidentified woman was treated at the scene and then rushed to St. Luke's Roosevelt Hospital.
Police reports indicate that the injured woman and the person backing the food cart failed to see each other in time to stop the incident.
The NYPD is investigating the accident to determine if a summons will be issued.
