LISTEN: Mets Homer Four Times in 8-2 Win over Giants

The Mets finished of a three-game sweep of the San Francisco Giants tonight with an 8-2 win. Rene Rivera homered twice and made a few great plays behind the plate for the Mets. Jay Bruce hit his 20th home run of the season and Curtis Granderson ripped his 10th in the top of the ninth.

Rafael Montero picked up his first win since 2014. He struck out seven over five and two thirds innings allowing just one run on five hits. The bullpen did its job allow just 1 run over the remaining three and a third.

Michael Conforto left the game after being hit by a pitch on his wrist, x-rays were negative. The Mets are off on Monday and will open a three game series in Miami on Tuesday. Coverage on 710 WOR begins at 6:05 pm with Pete McCarthy & 'Mets on Deck'.
