Police are looking for a gunman after a shooting near the Barclays Center in Brooklyn on Wednesday that injured a man.
The 50-year-old victim was struck in the ankle after apparently getting between two people who were arguing. The shooting was caught on surveillance video.
“In light of what’s happened today in our country, thank God we only have one individual hit. Thank God it could have been a lot worse,” said Chief Vincent Didonato.
The shooting caused a panic in the area, with people fleeing the scene.
It’s unclear what the dispute between the two individuals was about. An investigation continues.
