LISTEN: Granderson's 3 Hits + Harvey's Strong Outing Lead Mets Past Pirates

The New York Mets defeated the Pirates 7-2 tonight in Pittsburgh behind a solid performance from their starter Matt Harvey.

Harvey allowed just one run on six hits over six innings while striking out four. He picked up his second straight win and was helped by another big night for the Mets offense.

Asdrubal Cabrera drove in two runs with a booming fourth inning double, Jay Bruce did the same and Lucas Duda homered for the seventh time this season. Curtis Granderson had a big night at the plate as well going 3/5 driving in a run filling in for Michael Conforto as the Mets leadoff hitter.

They return home for a 4:10 pm game vs the Brewers; Coverage on WOR at 3:05 pm with Pete McCarthy & 'Mets on Deck'.
