An unidentified man is fighting for his life in Jamaica Hospital after getting shot in the neck in an apparent drug-related accident.
Police records show the victim was standing in the doorway of the Queens home on Mayda Road when shooting took place.
The critically wounded man's brother heard the shot and rushed outside to find the victim lying on the ground bleeding from the neck.
Neighbors called 911 and gave a description of two people who were seen fleeing the scene moments after the man was shot.
The house where the assault took place is rumored to be a drug den with people coming and going at all hours of the day.
