The NYPD and Harbor Patrol are trying to identify a body they found floating in the East River, Sunday afternoon.
According to Police accounts, the body was in such bad shape they could not make out if the corpse was male or female.
The Harbor Patrol pulled the body from the river near East 14th Street.
