A British tourist is recovering after she was struck by a hammock that fell five stories in Lower Manhattan.
The unidentified victim was walking on Church Street on Tuesday afternoon when the hammock blew off the terrace of a nearby building. The woman suffered injuries to her head and back.
The woman was taken to the hospital and is expected to be okay. The victim was with her husband, who was uninjured.
