‘Ashley G.' had suffered from Bulimia and Anorexia for over 20 years. She passed away earlier this week at a hospital in Morristown NJ.
The family of the young woman tried to help their daughter for two decades, sending her to the top eating disorder clinics and hospitals across the country.
Ashley G. had gone to court last year to battle the Department Of Human Services in a lawsuit that tried to have her force fed.
The judge in the case sided with 'Ashley G.'
Ashley's court appointed attorney Edward G. D'Alessandro released a statement saying: "I'm thankful that she's at peace."
