Bomb Threat on Newark-Bound Plane 'Not Credible': Port Authority

A bomb threat on an inbound flight to Newark Liberty International Airport has been deemed "not credible" by Port Authority officials.

Officials first reported the threat Thursday morning on United flight 1965 from Orlando.

The plane landed at around 1:45 p.m. Thursday but was not evacuated, said the Port Authority.

Agency spokesman Joe Pentangelo said the threat was "treated" but determined "not credible."
