Kelly: What Iran And Jaws Have In Common- You May Need A Bigger Boat

It is perhaps with a touch of coincidence that Americans attacked Iran’s nuclear development sites on the same weekend they celebrated the 50th anniversary of the release of “Jaws”. But Mike Kelly, the award-winning columnist for NorthJersey.com, says the connection between a mechanical shark and Hamas is blatant. He has been shown the line-item Iranian budget by CIA people showing where and how they fund Palestinian terrorism. Kelly, who wrote the book “The Bus on Jaffa Road” about terror in the Middle East and the link to Iran, appeared on 710 WOR’s Mendte in the Morning program to discuss how Iran, much like the shark in Jaws, is good at one purpose: knowing how to terrorize people.

Kelly explained why Iran may have looked so off-guard when host Larry Mendte pointed out how the attack was so one-sided: “It’s an interesting point you raised here about Iran not firing a shot at the American airplanes. What Iran is not good at is fighting a normal war, that kind of war where they shoot at airplanes and that kind of thing. What they are really good at is terrorism, and I think what our country needs to be reminded of is the fact that Iran has been the primary bank account or banker of terrorism across the Middle East, and I would argue across the world, for the last, maybe, thirty years.”

Kelly cautioned those who go after Iran not to underestimate or take lightly their terrorist capabilities: “Our country needs to wake up. Iran has been financing and carrying out terrorism for a long time, so don’t count them out. I know we just had the 50th anniversary of “Jaws”; even though they were shooting harpoons and all kinds of things at that large shark, it still managed to eat the boat, so be careful of Iran. They’re very good at terrorism.”
